Putting on sa3r advan wheels !
Can't wait can't wait . Just waiting for refurb . Couple of qs ....
Q1. what do you guys think of 205/40/17 front and
215 /40/17 rear on these alloys ? Apparently should get no rubbing / need no camber .
Q2 . Re050 / Toyo proxes / maxxis tyres ?
Q3 . Wheres the best place to find attachments for the advan alloys to the car ... Ie billets / centre caps. / split pins/ centre ring piece ? I've been told g23 engineering . I'm also less importantly looking for the advan stickers .
Loads of questions I know , thanks in advance,
Si

Hi,
I can only really answer question 2: Toyo Proxes T1R are ace, I swear by them....at the moment
With regards to question one I personally would try to keep the OEM ratio going, for instance OEM = 205/55/16(for my alloys) front and 225/50/16(I sometimes get the 50/55 mixed up). so for you = 205/40/17 front and 225/40/17 rear. You get the picture. I dont know if you will require any rolling or camber, im sure someone will be along shortly to dispute and correct.

The last person I remember running very narrow rear tyres ended up in a hedge and a write-off, so be careful with doing that sort of thing.
Personally, I'd find some wheels that fit rather better, though it's hard for anyone to help you without knowing what width and offsets your wheels are.

A quick read indicates they won't fit very well at all, at least not with lots of camber/rolling and so on. I may be wrong so don't take that as gospel.

don't risk it with super skinny/stretched tyres on those spec wheels, depends how low you want to go but 215/40 front and 245/40 rears should be your minimum and youll need some decent lows and camber to make them look good! especially if that pic you posted is what you want it like
