This is likely to be your elasticated straps that are worn.
Check out the linky http://www.modifry.com/products/ctf/index.htm
I just replaced mine yesterday and it took 15 minutes to do both sides. Modifry is an excellent guy and I got posted through my door 5 days after ordering.

Be really careful if you don't have elastic straps, or they are worn.
Mine stretched and when the dealer replaced the roof (usual wear hole) they didn't replace the straps (not part of the Honda kit nor known issue). Result was the bar didn't move correctly as it folded and the header catches stamped straight through the roof fabric!
May be best not to fold the roof down until the strips are replaced?!?!?

Being a bit of an expert on this topc at the moment..
There should be an elasticated strap between the two bars.
There should also be a non-elasticated strap between the shoulder of the rear bar (on either side) and the retaining bar at the bottom of the roof. This one is an absolute *expletive deleted* to fit.
The purpose of the rear straps is two-fold:
1- They separate the two bars when in the upright position, by keeping it to the rear
2- They support the rear screen when raising and lowering the roof
It bolts in at the back, and is rivetted to the frame bar.
Hope this helps!

Excellent Keith, thanks for that! So it looks like I'm missing the elastic straps and the not elastic ones at the back...
Anybody know where I can source some of these?
