Question for Falken FK452 users?
I'm in need of some new tyres for my S now that my Bridgestones are on the wear indicators, so I have decided to opt for the Falken FK 452's.
My question is this. Event Mobile list both a normal and XL version of these tyres. I believe the XL's are for "extra load", but which is recommend to use on the S?

There is no issue with doing this as its just has the cpacity to take more load. i have had mine on 2 years now, and honestly feel there the best tyre I have had on my S2000. pehaps not the best if you do track days though - but day to day there is no better especially in the wet.

Just had a look at my order for a full set of 452's and the rears are XL and the front TL, and they have been fine on my S. I seem to remember that XL is only available in the rear size anyway.

My understanding is that it represents load as in weight in the vehicle.
Therefore the S2000 having a generally wide and large tyre, would normally indicate a large car like say a basic 5 series or such, which would start to push the boundaries of a bigger heavier car needing stinger tyres.
The front wheels being not as wide generally meet the standards of smaller cars which wong really get to great weights.
So, being a staggered fittmdnt the S2000 tyre sizes sort if fall in-between small and larger cars.
I have Falkon 452's also, but paid no attention to the load ratings as the S2000 falls well below the weights they are suggesting.
