Quick tyre question.

Quick tyre question.
Afternoon guys,
Looking to buy some wheels in the next few weeks and just have a question. The widths of the wheels are: front 7.0 inch or 7.5 inch and the rears are 8.5 inch. Firstly, which is the better size to go for at the front? 7 or 7.5? And which tyre sizes should I go for? And finally, I'm thinking of maybe buying a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, has anyone tried them on an S2000? If so, what did you think compared to anything else you've tried?
Cheers peeps,
Chad.

from your sig pictures you currently have 16" wheels which according to the FAQ would have 6.5" width wheels. You don't say but expect that your looking at 17" wheels. OEM front MY04> 17"s are 7.0" wide.
I looked at Vredsteins but couldn't get them in the OEM tyre sizes which I wanted then. I found a few neutral comments on here about them so in the end I went for Goodyear Asymmetrics in OEM sizes. I now have slightly wider wheels and might consider the Vreds in the future. So if you get them post back how you get on.

I had Vred US' on 16" on my S the summer befor last. I found them to be good in every way except longevity, although lasted around the same as the Bridgestones . They were a softer tyre wall than the 050's, so more comfortable to drive. I wouldn't have them again, but thats purely a value for money issue.
