RaggTopp Supplier UK
Sorry peeps, i've done a search and can't find any current links to UK suppliers. I can see Modifry do it but postage is way more than the product. Does anyone know the best place to get it from? I'm after the cleaner and protector (non-aerosol).
While i'm asking where do people get their two buckets from with grit guards?
Thanks muchly.

As good as RaggTopp if not better, for cleaner just use what you use for the rest of the car, just rinse it off well then use Aerospace303.
303 Aerospace Protectant 16oz Spa Platic Leather Fabric Hot Tub Vinyl Cover Car | eBay
I get all my cleaning stuff from Ultimate finish (failing that eBay) -
Car Care Products | Car Detailing | Car Cleaning Products
Edit - Ultimate finish have just started a 7.5% off sale.

If your soft top is original, it is made of twillweave vinyl.
As previous post, 303 is a good product.
A good alternative is Renovo they make products for all kinds of roofs etc. For a complete Vinyl kit

As for buckets, I got some galve mesh and pushed it into the bottom of the buckets. cheap and effective!

thanks for the responses guys. Seems to be a fair bit about 303 out there so i've gone for this for the first time. Hopefully it will do the job (if applied correctly)

so purchased 303....
....had read a bit about leaving a film on the windows/paint after rain if too much product was used so sprayed onto a waxing sponge, making sure to remove any excess before repeatedly buffing. Gave a great finish but every time it rains i'm left with a oil film I have to clean off.
Pretty hacked off TBF

I don't remember having that problem - it's water-based and even says "303 Aerospace Protectant contains no oils, waxes or petroleum distillates and doesn't leave behind oily or greasy residues" Just a guess but did you get the right one? They do a "303 Fabric Guard" that might cause the problems you're having.

I cleaned, scrubbed and dried the soft top first, then followed the instructions, then stood back and admired as it looked really good. Here are some pics of the bottle, you can see it clearly states suitable for Vinyl on the back and on the front it says no 'oily residue'. I have also included a couple of pics of the car.

Did you spray the stuff directly onto the roof?
I think you're supposed to spray it onto a foam pad or mf towel and then rub it in, then leave it to dry for a few hours, if that helps?
