and you can see here two fixtures that i clamped together then welded up, the large one at the 11 o clock position relative to the thermostat and the tiny one (throttle body return) at the 5 o’clock position.

there is another large pipe on the inlet manifold that needs blanking.

wow that looks terrible with the flash on it! The speedo is bolted (off centre!!) to the folded sheet, and the sheet it bolted to a little bracket i welded onto the cross bar.

You can see a lower line, that is my old top mounted TTS rotrex 38-81race kit with a ported inlet manifold. Quite a hike in power.

Nice work anyway.Ive done nothing with mine except walk past it to get tools to use on the bike.
Glen its looking increasingly more like track only, just as it’s such a waste insuring taxing and fitting loads of crap shit to pass an mot every year.

Nope i managed to fire a pair of valve collets across the garage into oblivion using my patented hand compression technique! I think ill stick with spring compressor when honda send me the new pair! Airjacks - expensive, when some popped up cheap id love them !

That's at the wheels isn't it Raz?.

So what have you done to achieve that power? And what redline boost does it produce?

Jim, i’ll say everything has been done at least twice! The engine starts creating a bit too much ’noise’ at the red line so its limited at 8800. I can’t get into photobucket right now to show you the graph but i think it was 16.7psi at peak power and yes thats Wheel horse power, you can Axle power HP in the dyno pic I’ve already posted.

whats your setup doing now? still working with the big old vortech unit?

Ah tidy didn't even twig!. Was curious to see if there was much difference between an 81 and 91. Was there much to be felt when driving it?
