This, think i got nearly 39mpg on a motorway tank-full and 99/100ron on the continent. What a boring way to burn through €100

My recent average is probably about 8 mpg, but it spends a lot of time on a track

On a straight, mostly flat 9 hr drive with cruise on once I think I averaged 30 ish. That is about it. Normally probably 22-24, used to be maybe closer to 26 before the tune.

Mine always does 28-31 pretty much no matter what I do with it. Apart from when I drove across Germany averaging 100-130mph all day with the roof down - then it did 24...Great advantage of a decent NA engine is that it doesn't really matter how hard you drive it, it's still largely consistent!

Tiddling to and from Devon recently and stooging around Devon for a week resulted in an overall MPG of around 35mpg, wife in passenger seat is a very important device for saving fuel !

more recently at home and driving some what more vigorously on my own in a bid for grins before scorn for winter i recon down to around 22/24mpg

And on Jazz 1.2 again tiddling around as a local volunteer driver been achieving 60mpg, darent scare the old girls and boys , although one old girl did say drive fast as she liked it ! She was about 80.
