Thanks Ray,

I'm in Macclesfield, so not far from you. I spoke to Robyn when he retrimmed my wheel. He suggested calling in to see you guys...(armed with bacon butties...obviously!!)

Long time lurker, finally thinking of taking the plunge into S2000 ownership this summer. When it comes to runs around the rear arches, is there a recommended method to inspect a car without taking the arch liners out? I'll hopefully be viewing some over the next few months, but I'd like to avoid any money pits if possible. Seeing rust like that makes my heart sink.

Simple, there aren't any rear arch liners, only fronts.

I think the inner arches are the Achilles heel, but there are loads of helpful threads on here about what to look out for...good luck in your search, and post a few pics when you find one :-)

The rear bumper is also being done. Bit worried the back is going to be all spangly and the front will let it down, Should be back by the end of the week

They are not cheap but are good ime. You're welcome
to look at the job on my car. I've spotted a couple of flaws since i was done but they're not bad ones and overall the paint is better than oem imho

I bought 2 rear quarters (essentially half a car) off ebay for £350 for the pair. Obviously it does come with it's own perils, you can't guarantee the state of the donor vehicle, one of the quarters was great, the other had just started to go but not beyond repair.
