Rear number plate insert bracket thing...
My rear number plate insert thing (the number plate sized thing that costs £155, with the lights in) is a bit loose and rattly. Where it's wobbled about it's started to scratch the paint in the bumper and needs sorting. I had a look up under the bumper to see how it's fixed on, to find what looked like a recently excavated anglo-saxon sword holding it in place. I'm sure it used to BE something but right now it looks like a lumpy piece of rust and when i poked it, bits fell off into my face.
I am sure that I have recently found an exploded drawing of the rear bumper with all the parts numbered on here, but I can't find it now! (I think there was a lady asking about replacing the number plate insert thing, which is how I remember the price)
Anyone have any ideas what the rusty number plate insert thing bracket is called? Or part number? Price? It needs replacing for sure - I have no idea how it got so rusty - the rest of the car is mint!
I would take a picture but seriously, just google "iron age grave goods" and you'll get the idea...

£27 for each L bracket ( you need two of them) and £45 for the centre piece.
I would buy some plate aluminium offcuts and make your own at that price.

I had the same type of issue when my fog light fell out - the brackety looked like something I'd dig up on a Roman site!
Take a look at your rear crash bar - that'll look rusty to bu66gery too!!
