Rear pads - Akebono or Nissin

Morning all

I was about to order some rear pads from ECP (in addition to discs all around and DS2500's on the front) when it flagged that for my 1999 model, there could be one of two types of pads; Akebono or Nissin .

Without going to the ball ache of removing the old pads first, is there any other wayhttps://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.s2k...f23120e879.jpg I can check? I have attached a photo, for whatever that is worth.

Thanks in anticipation.

Not sure you can see it with wheels still on but there should be a Nissin logo engraved on top of the caliper, if they are indeed Nissin.

The Honda pads are marked as "Honda", but are likely to be Nissin made (like the calipers).

Having said that, there has only been one pad size/type for the S2000. brakeparts.co.uk lists the thickness as 14.5mm, height as 46.8mm and width as 88.7mm https://brakeparts.co.uk/shop/Honda/...0Shoes/BPS2011

It's also worth noting that you can get pads cheaper from brakeparts than from ecp.

It seems a strange thing to put DS2500s on the front and ecp cheapos on the rear, though.
