Just as a note, if you visit Lucids website he is selling JVC replacement speakers for the front (the 3 way ons) for about 100USD. I have these in my car and I they are a great improvement on the standard units, I paid 70GBP for them but I have since found the same units available from Costco for 29.99GBP, so if your looking for cheap replacement fronts, get yourself down to Costco and bag yourself a bargain.
These will need you to cut the standard mounting unit at the back (only a little) to allow for the deeper magnet. They are the same diameter as the standard speakers so once youve cut the back out they drop straight into the original mounting unit.
