Just as a note, if you visit Lucids website he is selling JVC replacement speakers for the front (the 3 way ons) for about 100USD. I have these in my car and I they are a great improvement on the standard units, I paid 70GBP for them but I have since found the same units available from Costco for 29.99GBP, so if your looking for cheap replacement fronts, get yourself down to Costco and bag yourself a bargain.

These will need you to cut the standard mounting unit at the back (only a little) to allow for the deeper magnet. They are the same diameter as the standard speakers so once youve cut the back out they drop straight into the original mounting unit.

hi newcomer in east london, would the rear speaker fit a jap import an where in the rear is it.

Have a look on Lucids site (he's a board sponser - click on the full sponser listing.) Quick answer is that the rears fit in the little panels that include the air vents behind the seats.
