rear tray clips
Ii need some new trim clips for the rear tray...and that actually fit - honda want c.£40 for the lot, which is a touch on the steep side so i'm looking on ebay for them.
I bought some generic 8mm ones, and they wont physically fit the hole, but everything i've done sugests 8mm are the correct size (measured the old clips, looked on Lings).
I've considered drilling the holes, but being the s2000, there's no room for a drill to get in squarely.
Has anyone bought clips that actually fit - if so, which ones did you get?

trying to find the ebay link for the box of trim clips i got
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item53f494a343 - every trim clip you'll ever need.
The one i found was about 15 quid and came with about 50 clips or so but Ebay is being sluggish so i can't find that one for now.
Are you after item 13 off here?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-Honda-f...item3f0a2cd623
Try that one - you'll need to measure the original clips as they're slightly different in the rear trim area but the above should be close.

nice ebay link - one to keep for the future!
turns out i was using the wrong clip for #19; it's not a pin-clip, but one of those push-to-fit clips (like doorcard clips).
I'm not sure whats happened to my plastics, but the front edge of the rear tray (3 clips to the roll hoop plastics on the car) seems to be a long way out (5-10mm gap). any tips for that, or shall i go for the riv-nut & bolt idea i have? the way clip19 & the rear edge of the tray work, i should be able to get it all inplace right with that idea...

If you look up the prat number, you'll find there's several different clips which are similar.
Gooogle them & there are loads of cheap generics.
Some of those also fit the rear clip of a Toyobaru 86 perfectly, too!

If it's not f itting right then it's out of alignment - mine fits perfectly as does Lovegroovas - i removed and refitted his too without a problem. Remove and reseat would be my initial suggestion.

I have just finished replacing these 3 clips keeping the trim panel in place - previous owner obviously has had a go and not done it right as the rear trim area was not sat correctly / scratches on the plastic / clips loose in the holes / rattling
Ordered ones off ebay as link above http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f0a2cd623
8mm larger ones used.
You have to make sure the trim panel is sat flush or the clips simply won't hold it in place. Use a screwdriver through the centre panel hole and push up / adjust the whole trim to the sides so it's flush.
Is a pain to get leverage - arms around headrest, head stuck over the wind deflector against rear window. I am acheing now.
