cheers for advise guys, at the moment iv got a set of brand new bridgestone turanza er300 on the front but on the rear i have bridgestone potenza s-02 which still have about 5mm left but i dnt think there that great. obviously i have nothing to compare them to but i find it easier than i think it should be to get the rear end out. im also gonna get the geo done just incase its to do with that.

AD08s. They should rename them Yokohama Nev-R-Slide.

I had ER300s on my Primera before I scrapped it. For Bridgestones they were pretty soft sidewalled, not so good in the dry but quite good in the wet. With those on the front and S02s on the rear, you've probably got terrible understeer in the dry and terrible oversteer in the wet. Not a good combination.

I've got Hancook's on the rear and they're a huge step forward from Bridgestones. I've still got potenzas on the front and there is a definite mis-match, as mentioned elsewhere in the thread - it's taken a lot of fiddling with my coilover settings to get it to feel right.

But......... I drove Outtametree's S with el cheapo Kumho Ecsta SPT's on and they absolutely wipe the floor with Bridgestones and Hancooks, and you'll get a full set for about the same price as a pair of Bridgestones. That's where (not much) of my money's going next time.

Falkens have never failed me really. Especially for the price.

I take it you are enjoying the AD08's Dave? I haven't had much chance with mine yet, looking forward to some nice drives out soon though. It is my daily driver, just not had chance to have fun.

To the OP sort your tyres out as soon as you can, it's probably downright dangerous to drive it with that combination of tyres as mentioned.

As a do everything tyre, The FK452 is very good.

However, after going to them from Toyo R888s, they feel hopeless!

Dan, see my second link above, it gives a good listing of tyre suppliers.

I think my Bridgestone RE050as are great. Great in the dry, good in the wet. £360 for a set of 4 from Event Tyres.

Yes change all four, if you are on a budget, then go for Falken fk452's all around, you will get all four for the approximate price of two rear bridgestones, making an assumption here that you are on 17" wheels?

Your local tyre place (not KwikFit) will most likely be able to get them in for you at the same price you can find them for on the net, just ask them.

The Falkens are proving to be a bit popular. There is one UK distributor who has a 4 week lead time on the 245/40/17 so unless the suppliers have them in stock you maybe out of luck (of the 5 I tried only Event had them).
Good advice on here guys - thanks and hope you get things sorted Dan.

I'll be getting the geo sorted and new tyres put on following the North Weald event on Sunday so I'll be interested to see how the Bridgestone alternatives perform!!
