Rear Wing

Hi guys,

has anyone dealt with Replica Rear wings of the Voltex / J's Racing / spoon?

if so are the quality of them good? Has anyone bought one before?

Cheers.

I've got mine one from Tune Factory, great quality and service. Would recommend them.

I have a couple of friends that have the 1k ones from eBay. The js type 1 rep. They are very good. They have had their wings for year and track every month. Not a single problem. I think the company was aero something.

I've got the spoon replica on mine, was tricky to fit but once on its fine - it pulled the boot out of line and I had to bend the back bit back in otherwise it wouldnt shut, whether that's due to the way I fitted it or the design itself as you can see where its pulled the boot lid in. Normal driving its fine, have tracked upto 110 (only briefly) and its still in place, I'm more concerned with it coming off than I probably need be as its solid.

I'm happy with it though, and happier knowing what I paid for it against what the genuine article costs...

How do you mean it pulled the boot out of line? do you have any pictures? I cant see how a spoiler on the outside of the boot can get in the way of the hinge or latching system

My BGW (genuine spoon) hasn't deformed my boot lid.

Did 150+ on the back straight at the Ring.

Thats at the straightest angle though.

I think the boot skin can deform if you don't reinforce it.

CR has little rubber supported and brackets to stop it happening
