Red Brake Calipers

Except for the fact that hamerite burns when the calipers get hot. So do many of the so called caliper paints.
The calipers on the S aren't particularly pretty to look at. If your set on painting them, paint them black to tidy them up without drawing attention to them.

[QUOTE=Pantwone,Sep 23 2007, 05:45 AM] Hey CJ...Just thinking of painting mine too....you got a link for where you got your paint...(yes can search for myself....feeling lazy lol)
Anyone got any pics of Black car with red or black calipers to help me make up my mind....was going to go for black as my S is black and might get some black wheels at some point...plus like the low key look...but hey i have a red/black interior so guess it wouldn't

I'd personally go for black or dark grey like mine. I think red is to bold IMO. lets face it the calipers aren't the best looking around are they!
I bought the paint from halfords as I couldn't wait.

I agree; the fact that the barry boys have painted their drums red, means red looks chav; even on the Boxster S, where it's done properly at the factory.
