Removing the air pump

I'm unsure if this need removed too?

Just trying to get my head around what needs removed, probably be easier when i see it in all.

the kit i have removes the pump and wiring under the wing and has a blanking plate for the secondary air pump valve

sounds good.

P.s air control valve doesn't connect to the vacuum tank doh!

Remove the front bumper and nothing else

Rob, if you have any luck doing it via the arch liner, please let us know...I'm tempted to swap my defective one out in this manner

Weight.

It's not something I'd bother doing tbh, it only weighs a few kg and is hassle to remove. Mine was removed when I had the car and the AEM ECU doesn't need it.

Rob, where did you get your delete kit from?

I will be watching this thread with interest because the air pump will get in the way when i make some brake ducts. Plus, everyone likes a few less kgs

Does anyone know where the vacuum pipes now go to?

There are two pipes that pass under the fuel rail and goto egr valve at the back of the rocker cover and also goto the vacuum tank and air solenoid valve?

not just because of weight MB, when the air pump fails its cheaper to get a delete kit and remove it then replace it.
