Just go slow and careful on the replacement. Have you got to send the damaged one back first? How are they proving the replacement one is good?

the car will be going off to a company to have complete replacement engine fitted with a 12 month waranty on parts and labour
i am driving the engine to slough saturday morning to get my money back for the engine

You’ve got to admit that these youngsters/chavs aren’t afraid to have a go.
Couple their enthusiasm with the experience of the old-timers and we could see some really exciting results.
I’ve noticed a bit of give and take already and the standards of literacy have improved greatly in threads like this recently.
Hope it's second time lucky for your replacement engine. Don’t be tempted to sticker bomb your engine bay while it is empty though.

I feel sorry for rob, he's had a shit time engine wise, but you cannot fault his enthusiasm and determination to get it sorted, and on a budget. Having kinda been through this, I know how stressful it is, and I just left it in someone else's hands to do!
