Removing the lambda sensor on the cat
Thanks to s2k on roids ( top bloke ) I have a very nice original replacement for my rattly cat, I intend to unplug the lambda sensor and remove it from the original cat on the bench after I've removed the cat from the car.
I suspect the sensor will be a pig to get off are there any techniques or tricks to removing it ?
I do have a blow lamp but I dont know if getting the flame close to the threaded part of the sensor will damage it or the wiring within by means of heat conduction.

I've laid under the car before, on axle stands, one foot against the wall for leverage, and heaved like mad with rust falling in my eyes to get one of these f@#kers off!
It's definately a case of big tools = better leverage.
