Replacement roof

Thinking of ordering this roof, has anyone had any experience? Just wanting to make sure it's good enough quality, fitment etc |

Having read up on what mohair is (essentially canvas - it's never been near a Mo in it's life) I'd go for OE twillweave vinyl. I'm pretty handy so I reckon I'd think about fitting mine myself, so had been thinking of a monsoon one for about £500 (not sure what your shipping would be)

Depending on where you are in the country - Jack Smith's in Swansea do new roof's for around £250 fitted.
There are a number of people on here who have them - just do a search https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/public/st...t-tip-wink.gif |
Got a new roof fitted at Jack Smith's recently. Absolutely spot on, especially for £280 all in! Now I don't get a wet knee every time it rains!!! :)

Are they able to fit a glass window for that price aswell?
|
Yep it's done on an exchange basis. He has the roof ready to fit when you arrive with the rear glass window. He fits the roof and you leave you window with him for the next person.

That's pretty sweet, I have a large rip in my roof. How long does it take him to do the job?

I'm a good 4-5 hours from Swansea. But I booked into the Premier Inn at the waterfront (£45 for the night) and took the good lady for a night away, my treat! :)
I dropped the S off about 8:30am and went off around Swansea shopping. The new roof was fitted and ready to go about 2pm. All in £280, can't recommend him enough. Only thing I would say is he's extremely busy! You may have to wait a month or two for his next available appointment. |
My new roof after the drive home from Swansea:
