Replacement tyres for 17"
 

Any body got any suggestion for tyres on the standards MY04 17" rims,
I have the standard bridgestones on there at present, but dont seem to be able to get matching tyres, in 215, and 245 from other manufacturuers.

I saw some Toyo Proxes, but have no experince of toyo tyres.

personally I would stick to the Bridgestones they do there job admirable

but i have been impressed with the toyo proxes on the 206 hdi.much better than the eagle f1's that came as standard.

Is what I use and I am *very* happy with them :)

I love my Toyos, much better than the Eagle F1s I now have on my track day wheels.

Yes! but these are 16" GS-D2s are they not?

Proxes aren't that good in the ice & snow, either! (Karen has them on the Civic).

Their grip in the wet or dry is higher than the original Dunlops, but the sidewalls feel softer, which spoils the RWS adjustability slightly.

Correct. Is there a substantial difference between the two?

Well nick, if you will insist on using those dinky wheels with large tyre sidewalls ;)
