Replacement tyres for 17"
Any body got any suggestion for tyres on the standards MY04 17" rims,
I have the standard bridgestones on there at present, but dont seem to be able to get matching tyres, in 215, and 245 from other manufacturuers. I saw some Toyo Proxes, but have no experince of toyo tyres. Regards Stewart |
personally I would stick to the Bridgestones they do there job admirable

:iagree:
but i have been impressed with the toyo proxes on the 206 hdi.much better than the eagle f1's that came as standard. |
Eagle F1 GS-D3 ...... 225/45 ZR17 Front, 245/40 ZR17 rear
Is what I use and I am *very* happy with them :) |
I love my Toyos, much better than the Eagle F1s I now have on my track day wheels.

Had Toyos (16") fitted last week due to the SO |
Proxes aren't that good in the ice & snow, either! (Karen has them on the Civic).
Their grip in the wet or dry is higher than the original Dunlops, but the sidewalls feel softer, which spoils the RWS adjustability slightly. |
