Default Reputable sources for a used DBW engine...

Can anyone advise me of breakers or contacts for sourcing a used DBW engine please. Or, on the other hand, places to steer clear of... eBay currently shows a couple of options, I'm keen to find out any alternative reputable suppliers.

I've got an 06 S2000 with a poorly lump and am weighing up options for what to do with it. Problem is the car has kinda got under my skin over the past few years and I don't really want to condemn it.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need a Dbw engine, any will do but you will need to change a few things over and reuse things like you old throttle body and stuff like that.

08 11k miles Short motor on a popular auction site with thrust washer fitment problems <installation at a guess>
be wary though as to block damaged from the above issue.

I wouldn't buy a bare engine after a couple of recent experiences

The industry is infested with crooks and chancers

A much better bet would be to buy a damaged car

Yes, more inconvenience, but you can check how well it runs and break the rest
