Advice needed - grinding noise and feel from the front drivers side
First, my front offside caliper seizes. Then my brand new rotrex charger is faulty out of the box. Now I finally get the car back and it's making another noise.
When the car is up to temp, I'm getting a grinding noise coming from the drivers side front of the car, especially when turning left. Nothing when turning right. Doesn't do it when cold, only warm. In or out of gear and I can feel the grind coming through the brake pedal.
Ive had a quick search, the suggestion of wheel bearing comes up often. Car is just under 40,000 miles.
Anyone else had this?

The caliper could have cooked the bearing.. jack it up and spin it.. maybe when warm?
Remove pads and spin again
It could be something odd like the heat shield fouling if someone or thing has bent it or something is trapped in it

Yeah, I'm going to give it a shake down tonight. Warm it up, jack it and rock the wheel to see if there's any play. Check over the pads too. Is it possible it cooked the bearing? Seems coincidence that it's the same side and not much time spent.
