Hey Joeh mate,
Na, we are going on the Euro tunnel mate, not the ferry much better/quikcer.
I don't think there are any tolls mate either, not that I've been advised of anyway.

So far there is 7 of us confirmed in this house, works out to just under £46 each for 3 nights.
Expensive hotels need not apply.
So, tunnel crossing halved between me and my mate, (£84) £42 + £46 = £88 for my cossing and hotel.
It doesn't have to be as expensive as everyone makes out, if done properly that is.

^^ Aye when I saw on the nurburg site it did a quick overview of costs and it came to like £500 for a weekend... which I thought was retardingly expensive!!
Then they give you list of fees if you crash, close track per hour is like E1350 or something?

In my experience even a short weekend somehow ends up costing >£1K. Of course some people are content to go all the way there and just do 4 laps, but I'd want to do at least 20 in two days, plus the petrol to do the laps and that's £500 right there.

Our 5 day stops always seem to be more expensive than the black and white figures would suggest.
Still, what else you gonna spend ya money on, Butlins?

you would definately need a new set of tyres and brakes after or maybe even during that weekend.
i went for 4 days last summer and my mates 1.8 eunos did 11 laps and needed new tyres and brakes,
20 laps is 300 miles of damn hard driving.

id be impressed if most cars would cope with 20 laps in 2 days, thats alot of hard driven miles,

And the S has done the 2009 Euromeet and the Mega Meet at the Isle of Man and some trips in the Netherlands , Belgium and the Mösel area and Ring in Germany . And the tyres and brakes are still good .
