ripping hood
Hi all,
I think I remember seeing something about this on the FAQ and i have def seen some other s2K's with the same problem...
basically, my hood is very slowly ripping ( every time i put it down it seems to rip a little more ) from the back of the side windows ( both sides ) where the hood meets the body of the car...
does anyone know if there is a patch that I can get to stop the rip, or at least just make it look a bit tidier...

Mine started to go there but fortunately the car was in warranty so I was able to claim a new roof.
One of the main problems with patching is finding a suitable glue as PVC is a tricky material to stick.
I recently found this industrial glue for sticking plastics, rubber and more importantly PVC.
PVC/Rubber superglue
As for patches, It would be a good idea if someone replacing their roof cut up the old one in patch sizes and sold them in packs
