Visiting the body shop today so hopefully will have some progress pictures later if he has pulled his finger out. Just to mention also that I am going to start a thread in the for sale section with all the bits I have taken off the car. Mostly standard parts but will be very cheap of free to anyone who want to collect...

Apparently other work is taking priority as mine is not a simple 5 minute job. I called today to have a bit of a rant so hopefully that should get things moving a bit quicker. To be honest Ive been here before in a very similar situation with the fabricators I used for my intercooler, piping, exhaust etc etc. A job I am told will take a month has now been there over 3 and not looking any closer to completion that last 2 times I have visited. I can understand that they have their bread and butter crash repair jobs that need to be turned around in a few days but feel this has caused them to push this back.
I have not had any luck at all with this build. Apart from the work we have completed ourselves, which is a fair percentage to be honest as those of you will know who have followed the build, noting else has run smoothly or to plan. Only jobs I have not been able to complete myself such as fabrication and bodywork has been outsourced and has caused disappointment after disappointment. Ultimately this has put a real dampener on this project. For those of you that have followed it from the start, you may remember great pace and things really getting done in the early phase of 3-6months. Then the car left our company and that is where it all started to go wrong. Boxing day 2013 and the car wont have seen any road time in 3 years.
