I think it's the camera and the bad light I had yesterday evening making it look dark and dull. Trust me it looks much better in real life.
And yes - I clean the K&N every year.

Once Andy's fitted his he's sending his old one to me (cost & 85 Inc P&P) I'll get that refurbished and send mine to whoever wants to do theirs. If you want to get involved, that's you.

Did you ever get the rattle.sorted - was it the TCT?

OEM all the way for me...not like you young guns.

Just had TCT refurbed together with valve clearances (which were quite a way out) and all sounds really sweet again.
