UPDATE:
As you can see above I should now have a rocker cover...
I will keep you all updated as the project progresses.
Steve

PS: I am a computer software engineer by trade - people pay me silly money to write software. I then pay people silly money to spray parts of my car - for which I am really happy.

yes you are right, the blue one i posted earlier i "cured" on a car. As you can see it was already wrinkly as the paint dried. Curing just makes it harder and more resistant to chemicals.

Tip to using VHT WRINKLE paint is to do 3 heavy-ish coats, in 3 different patterns. so horizontal, vertical and then diagonal... it will end up with nice even wrikle patern

This thread could go on forever....

You pass on your old rocker cover to me (similar cost to the one you bought) I get mine refurbished and pass mine on to another and so on. And we post up pics of our shiny new covers when done, recommending (or not!) people as we go

Would you like the "spare" rocker cover when I have finished with it?
I have already promised it to Andy2000 but I am sure he will pass it on to you...

I suggest we all stick to the same price of £70 plus £15 postage = £85.

Steve

Is Andy2000 doing the same? If so I could have the 'spare' after him?

Yep. count me in on this chain....assuming Minvos is the same as mine and its a straight swap...

Happy to discuss sequencing here as not sure when I can get the change done, although TangoVTEC will be doing my valve clearances at some point when he gets back from his honeymoon, which seems the sensible time to do it.
Apart from a new gasket is there anything else needed ?
