Glad to hear that mate. But of course the reason why it sounds so much better is because you now have a bit of MINVO engine under your bonnet!

Just had an email from Paul at Spooners asking if I am facelift or pre.

Does it make a difference to the rocker cover? I assumed an AP1 block was/is always the same

Think the DBW (06+) have a different rocker cover.

Spooners doing a candy red group buy price at the moment too, was seriously tempted but think I'm going to do it myself in original finish

Thanks GhostWKD but regardless I have decided to defer now (kw_21 you have PM) as my valves and plugs were done in the last year. I will let the gasket sit until the cover next has to come off (2020) assuming I live that long. So I will plan a solo job. Hell I might even get down and dirty and do it myself (yes that was a low flying gaggle of pigs you heard in the background . This is Norfolk after all!)

My sources tell me that the positioning of the breather pipe changed on later models (although I could be wrong and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will confirm)

We're the same MY03 KW so you should be fine.

found this when researching the same question myself. From our friends across the water but might be of help.

this also shows the different positioning of the breather pipe on facelift covers which I mentioned in earier post.
