Default rocker cover touch up paint?

Whilst cleaning my engine some of the paint has flaked off.

Can you buy red rocker cover paint? I think it will need to be heat resistant too.

Cheers

I've done a search on this and apparently there's not much point, as it just flakes off again.

Apparently you would need to get it completely sandblasted then fully repainted again, which would cost more than a new rocker cover would from Ricks.

However, I had a look on Rick's site and can't find rocker covers for sale, so I'm not sure if you can still get them from him. They cost a hell of a lot more from Honda, as you would expect!

i've considered having mine polished professionally but have warmed quite a bit to the concept of having it gold plated.. not sure just yet tho as i've already got a polished inlet manifold sat here. Too much buffed alloy spoils the vteccy-broth

I personally just want it touched up.

Surely you could prime areas first then touch up with paint?
