Default roof/door leak

Hi there. Got the classic leak where everyone with a seat gets a lovely shower when i first pull off invyhe car. Now iv read the massive thread on this along with other posts but im getting a bit confused. Partly because most pictures are no longer available to view and partly because there appears to be no clear resolution. Any further help is appreciated. Well soap at the ready Im off for my morning shower now.

I had that for years and could not figure out what to do - followed all the advise and nothing worked. Then I decided to replace the soft top and the chap at Carhood Warehouse resited the rubber seals properly. That was 9 years ago and I've not had the problem since.

Funny you say that go back and have another look at the threads, photobucket have just reinstated their service, photos may be back..
some have found replacing the elastic tensioners has helped plus the famous Shinetsu grease on the seals.

Got some shin etsu grease on the way as the seals do look like then need it. Good tip on the photos il have another look. I imagine the issue is either one or all of the following: dry/old, seals, disintegrated foam inserts, worn out roof.

Do as Richmc said above and look at thread again as it has the pics back. If you're happy your roof is good i'd take off the seals and give them a good look over for cracks/holes, redo the foam seal and reinstall them.
