Roof Shenanigans

Roof Shenanigans
Chaps,
Discovered a bit of a leak in my boot. (More of an inch worth actually) Luckily I have caught it in time, but have discovered where the water is entering the boot.
Looks like it's coming through where the fabric meets the plastic 'frame' running around the rear deck. Any ideas on how to remove this without breaking anything so I can have a look and try and track down the problem? Boot at the moment is stripped and I'm using a bucket when it rains!
Just to add, the roof has been replaced at some point.

This probably means your roof drainage channels are blocked. They exit the bottom of the car just in front of the rear wheels. Slowly pour some water down there and see it they drai properly. I coat hanger will aid in unblocking them if the are blocked up.

To remove that trim you need to loosen the bolts that hold the back of the roof in place. This plastic dressing then just clips off from the bodywork. It's a tricky job and I would investigate other common leakage points before going down this route...

It's definitely there, if you pour the water on the area highlighted it doesn't even get to the drainage channels, it just drops straight down into the boot.
I suppose I'll have to pull all of the rear trim off to get a looksie. Annoying. I assume the fabric is bolted/riveted to the frame somehow, perhaps there is a tear or missing mount point?
