When I bought my s2k 5 years ago I could feel a tiny tear behind the drivers shoulder. I patched it up with a piece of tear aid, some sticky felt and installed a lizard skin. Fast forward 5 years and the tear is now showing through (2-3mm). I was thinking of trying to patch it from the inside again...I'll use another piece of tear aid but was wondering if sticky felt was the best option to go on top.

Any ideas?

Ultimately I'll buy new roof, I just wanted to prolong the life of this one for as long as possible.
