Now all i got to do is find either of the plates I want

S200 ORH
or
FON74L

does anybody know how to search for them?
You definitely won't find anything S200... on the DVLA site, they're all gone!
Loads of S200 ones there, just go for a prefix search http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov....8&prefix2.y=12

Loads off S200 D plates :0)
I've often wondered if 52 plates will cut the mustard ie PJ 52OOO, could work from a distance

Sounds good to me. I'll be able to have S2K LV if that's the case...if or when I either get my car sorted or get a new one

Sounds good. I will have to put my minions to work to try to find out when this will happen.
I have my (currently) illegal plates ready to go.

M1 NVO will become MINVO once again!
Maybe I can get some more made up and have "M I N V O"

Minvo!

Be interesting to see if it actually happens, and if subsequently it gets reversed!

I wonder when this will come around. Also there will need to be some pretty specific rules laid down. Some letters when spaced close enough can form whole new letters. This will be fun and games with the police!

for 7 years I have had my plates on spaced wrong and never had a problem, just when it comes to the MOT i just swap them over, this would save me 10 mins each year so its a bonus i guess.

I know people that developed number plate recognition systems including the ring of steel. Fontvand spacing are largely irrelevant, the systems can cope. However, there are a few test plates that the systems ignore so you can speed with impugnity. Never did get hold of one...
