Default Running 16" S2000 Wheels on Facelift

As above, no problems doing this surely? I'm after a set of second wheels to put track tyres on to abuse and 16" wheels are more plentiful and cheap. I'll be keeping my 17" wheels for road use. A good idea right?

The second thing that I've been thinking about is how to get 4 additional wheels to the track with me without towing a trailer or getting someone else to bring them in another car...

1) It's fine.
2) Good luck with that! I'd just change them at home and drive to the track.

16" wheels will fit fine yes, you could possibly put lower profile tyres on them than standard to lower the gearing a bit too.

The second problem is one I'm very familiar with! Normally there's no one else going that can take four extra wheels along for me so I end up just taking one spare front wheel with me in the boot. It's a squeeze with a 20 litre petrol can, two crash helmets, two fold up camping seats and all our food in there too....

Cheers thought so.

I could do that but it would be nice to know I could trash a set and not have to worry about legal tread limits for the journey home.

I'd be happy to just go with manufacturer sizes on the 16's.

Got through winter just gone fine without them so unless we get some heavy snow forecast I would give that a miss, nice to have the option though definitely.
