I've the usual behaviour - looks like tea stains within an hour of washing.

This is normal. My dad is a ferrous metallurgist and he reckons it's normal. Same profession as AnDy_Pandy, but he didn't say trust me so you can!

If it bothers you, then you can get the disks plated, or get replacement disc. Something I'd consider I think when the stock discs have had it, which won't be for a long time.

If it is normal then it does not bother me but it does spoil the look of the car. Just means I have to drive it every day to burn it off

It happens to all discs!

It's just more obvious with the S2K open spokes than with plastic wheeltrims.

Makes the car stop quick, though.

To avoid it, coat the surfaces in grease.

NO - I WAS JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Till I sell it

Honestly!

More seriously, I'm stopping detail tweaks after this round of bits are done. I've not decided longer term about the car, but I'd take a big hit selling too soon. So at the very least I've a few months over the winter to see what I feel. I've some other things on my plate as well, depending on what happens there I might have to sell the car anyway. Also, the bits on the way should round off most of the aspects of the car I'm not too happy with. Fingers crossed.

Already there has been ice on the driveway - took a long time to make sure the driveway was clear this morning before taking the car out. It's tricky getting back in as well - the corner coming up to the house is covered in decaying wet leaves. Only on one side... not fun.

I'm at a Honda-R meet on Sunday - lots of nice ITRs... might try grab a ride for old times sake
