Default S2 K Vs Lotus Exige

The new Exige looks an interesting proposition to follow my s2k.
Has anybody tested an exige against The S2 k and what was your opinion??

It should be a good prospect with a reliable Toyota engine.

I can't fit in an Elise with the roof in place so I don't think it'll be a possibility for me.

6'2" (and pretty bulky these days)

I'm sure if I really tried hard I could manage it, but I wouldn't be prepared to do it on a regular basis. I've been in one with the roof off and got in but wasn't particularly comfortable. I tried to get in one with the roof on but gave up

I'm 6'1" and it wasn't the easiest to negotiate

Quite good fun watching my bro get in to a Caterham with a roll cage (have to climb over it and drop in from above)

Anyway, anyone got anything to say on topic?

(Sorry)

Isn't an Exige really a different type of car ?

The 2 cars don't really compete as they are so different - an exige would be great just for the track, but there's no way it's practical enough for me.

Yeah, great car for the committed driver, with a heavy bias towards the track day market but not an every day thing, like the S2000. What ever you do, don't crash it either

The 2ZZ engines a fine engine but the F20C is far better.

What we really need is a elise with the F20C mounted in it
