Okay guys, so what did Autocar have to say about it?

I get Top Gear over here, I quite like that as it seems to be written mainly by petrol heads!!!

This is just a vote on your favourite car thread, make them eat their words and vote!!

Original test was critical of peaky engine and wooly steering, I also think they tested it on single track roads in a thunderstorm which made it a bit twitchy.

A later group test on the Oulton track had them gushing about how good it was! Including best through one corner / slalom section (and we are talking in the company of Ferraris, Porsches, Aston's etc), but I don't think Honda pay to much to their advertising budget, like the Boxster PR dept. do!!!

VOTE NOW! (After admittedly having to buy this weeks Autocar!!) You could win for a month an M Coupe for a month. (Handsome )

Its just a shame they didnt choose to rewrite their nasty 'dissapointment of 99' comment after their day at Oulton.

Car magazine is equally inconsistent.

The Good Bad Ugly section gives it only three stars, yet the car is suggested as a better or worthwhile alternative to all of its rivals.

Their tests have consistently criticised the handling, yet on the test track in a handling test, the S2K was judged that it might be the fastest in the right hands.

It nearly put me off buying the car.

Funny how most things by BMW (Z3 excepted) are given about 100 stars by car magazine.

The best road tests I have read for the S2000 have been from Top Gear magazine.
I suppose with VBH having one, they have more access to test it properly.
