S2000 engine serial numbers break down
 

Hi
Does anyone know how to tell the model year of an engine just by the serial number.

So
F20C2 - 105xxxx

would this mean its a 2005 engine
and

F20C2-100
would this mean its from a year 2000 ??

F20C2-104xxxx and this is a 2004 car
