Thanks for the replies guys - I'll keep an eye on the local dealers and definitely try to get to the Super Sausage, it's only about 30 mins from my house.

@WinFreak - being the 'other' side of 30 probably helps, had a dealer just throw me the keys to an MX5, I guess only having two seats and turning up with my other half helps - can't exactly leave her standing in the forecourt! BMW also gave me a 1 series (120d) for a few hours but that was after the 'escorted drive'... I think the salesman that accompanied us on a Fiesta ST180 test drive wishes he didn't though, it had pretty harsh suspension and he managed to leave his seat on one bump :biggrin: I loved it, but the missus had a headache from the 15 minute test drive so that was a big fat no from her. She loved the MX5 though and has been talking about another 2 seater convertible so I shouldn't having any issues getting her into an S2000.
