Will try. I've been turbo charged for some months, and after removing that i've just been using a filter stuck onto the throttle body So I will have to rely on memory of the airbox noise!
The difference after fitting will be tricky too as i'm bedding a final drive in, so not pushing the car. It's also not mapped correctly so not a good example to use
What I can say is the K&N is very nicely packaged with what appear to be a good set of instructions. Sort of quality you would expect from K&N.
I will probably be selling it in a couple of months as I have a J's Racing carbon one coming, which is quieter.

Any chance of putting 1st dibbs on your FIPK for when your J's intake arrives?

I used an AEM V1 intake on my last S. Sound was amazing and I had no problems at all with hydrolock. I cut up a plastic plant pot to make an umbrella, worked a treat! Only £1.99 as well!

I have a K&N Typhoon on mine and it sounds awsome, much better than with the OEM airbox lid off. There's an in car video here https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/823...t__p__20288696. Please don't judge the (very poor) driving. I have uploaded more from the same day on You Tube, a quick search for paulf1011 and you'll find all my poor efforts and the sound track you need.
