Default S2000 on Pistonheads

Seem to remember someone saying they should do a bit about the S2k as part of their 'open season' thing.

Seems they've listened!

Shame they mention the cambelt (which doesn't exist).

Nought to sixty in 5 seems a little flattering, but all in all a decent article.

For some reason the Max Power brigade never got hold of S2000s in any serious way.
Review is out of date already

So that'd be 0-60 in 5.4.

0-60 in 5 suggests 5 seconds dead which is what I was getting at (I already knew about the MIRA figures)

It's like saying that my Lotus does 0-60 in 4 when it's actually 4.3.

Well it's a good job I read that!! I checked through my service history and I'm 35k miles overdue on the cambelt !!!!!

Got it booked in now, though. Local Honda dealer said they'd do me a favour and not charge for parts, so it's only £1100, which sounds pretty reasonable. Apparently they don't do many of these - rarity of the car I presume - so they have to wait to get a special tool in to do it. Something called a long weight (sic)? Must be to do with tensioning the belt afterwards.
