Default S2000 Track Day Videos Thread

Track days within the S2000 community seems to be increasing which is a great thing to see.

There are lots of separate threads with videos so I am thinking it would be good to have a dedicated thread for S2000 track (inc sprint, hill climb etc) days.

A link to the video and a spec of the car would be of interest to other members along with a brief description of your track day experience (ie, novice, etc).

I'll start with a recent track day I did at Oulton Park a few weeks ago.

Originally I started off the day in my track dedicated 205 GTI but after 5 laps the head gasket died so I towed it back home and took the S2000 back to the track.

The spec of the S2000:

Facelift 2004MY
Completely standard engine
Mugen Bushes
Koni Dampers with Eibach Springs
DS2500 Pads with standard discs

I have done track days for a few years now and I have done Oulton Park 2 times in an S2000 and about 10 times in my previous track car.

Video 1 - good tussle with an annoyingly quick Clio

- the passenger I had in with me was a bit worried as it was her first ever time she has been in a car on a track day.

Video 2 - Good tussle with a Caterham (or might have been a Westfield..............)

Some great vids here!

Sion, your car seems very loose at the rear, is that what you were aiming for with your suspension mods and alignment? Enjoyable to watch, but a bit hairy for me i think!
