Default S2000's @ Wilton Wake Up

Great morning at Wilton House today. I counted 5 S2k's out and about!!

Later in the morning as we were watching cars leave I realised two had parked near me:

After meeting the two owners we then decided to park outside the main entrance/Wilton banner!

Should have rounded the other two up!!

Is yours the moonrock one? Lovely car. I hung around it for a while to ask about the wheels and tyres but missed you. I'm fairly sure i saw it at Queen Square a few weeks back too. The black one was also a really nice example.

Yes I was in mine. It was in front of the house.

I was just curious to how the AD08 were on the S in all weather's and if you'd had the wheels redone somewhere local.
I'm about to get new tyres for mine and want to get the wheels refurbished aswell.

The tyres are amazing. I had stuck with Potenzas before, these really are next level. I am not able to comment about wet weather, as only had them on 1000 mile and driven in the rain once! (although it was a brisk blast in Wales that I survived..)

The wheels were refurbished at Pheonix Enhancements, Bristol... Highly recommended, if not quite expensive. Phoenix Enhancement Services | Bristol based car body repairs and alloy wheel refurbishment services.

The black one - an 04 - appears to be a pre facelift, whilst the moonrock, also 04 appears to facelift? "Different ends of the year" I hear you cry...

but mine is a 53 plate (though registered early 04) and is a facelift.

The black one is also the other end of the mileage scale, 36k miles if I remember correct, vs near 115k on my facelift!!

Thanks. The wheels look great. Alot of the Castle Combe Saloons use the AD08r and love them but it's nice to hear the veiw from a road going rwd.

Mine are the slightly later wheels V2? but they've been painted in the past and don't have the polished faces any more.

Are you going to the Roof-Down Rendezvous one in July?
