That's a lot of fails for any Honda!
Owner must be a right dick having all those tyre fails and advisories, you would think he'd learn to check them before going for the MOT after the first couple of fails.

Depends on if the same person has owned it for a long time or not tbh, S2000's have quite a high owner turnover compared to alot of cars (as most sports cars do really)

2017 - worn advisory
2015 - cut in a tyre failure
2012 - worn advisory (x2, failed on headlights and retest)
2008 - worn tyres fail

Guy seems to have driven it for about 500 miles on a failed MOT.
Failed on 11th Nov, retest 500 miles and 2 months later.

For the OP, if its not too far, best is to go and have a look.
Also download "Vehicle Smart" app. Just need a reg and vehicle make. Gives you MOT history, Mileage History and a few other bits.

A mate used it the other day and found his old truck had been majorly clocked. MOT X had 174K on, Next MOT it had 62K on it.

Wow thanks for the replies!

Yes I had checked the history online and seen all that.

Curent owner had it since January, took is at a part ex and needs a van for work or something of the like, seems fault genuine.

So the previous owner to him did the 500 miles without mot, and current owner wouldn't accept swap with a new mot. I can only assume it's changed hands a lot but all the other mot suggest just tyres really so not too bad.

Although what it failed on was decat related so nothing major I assume? Also Ive seen a lot of these cars with headlight issues in the mot now why is that, I'm hoping they've not all had front end impacts or something?

Cheers

Tyre wear could be down to bad geo. And if the bolts are seized, then you have a very fun job at hand.
If you can do it yourself and have the tools, then set a good weekend aside.
If you dont and take it to a garage, expect much £££ to cut out and replace seized bushes.

Good aggregation of data in that app.

how much are we looking at? room for negotiation i suppose

also ive been told there are small arch bubbles on the rear arches (where else)

how much should i budget to fix that?

or as a temporary thing can you sand these down, use kurust then touch them up? i know it will come back but gives me time to save til i can afford to get it cut out properly etc
