Default The for sale forum

Hello all,

I hope it's ok to post this, and I apologise if it's come up before. However I find the for sale forum a little tricky to use because it's just a mish mash of anything and everything. I was looking at getting an S2000 about 18 months ago, but due to finances ended up with a little hot hatch. There is still a hunger there for an S2000 and I hope to be looking for one next year at some point.

Anyway, to the point of my thread, I am a member of a Renaultsport members club, and their for sale forums are broken down into 'Car Parts for Sale', 'Cars for Sale', 'Other for Sale', and 'Wanted'. I wondered whether this would be a good idea for this forum. The reason being is that I keep trawling through pages and pages of threads to try and find cars for sale, but it's just a bit of a pain.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

We have a "Cars for Sale" sticky at the top of the forum. A couple of the Moderators are tasked with keeping it up-to-date. https://www.s2ki.com/...-for-sale-list/

The relatively small number of posts in the UK For Sale and Wanted forum don't really require a further split. The search function also works pretty well now too. See here for how to use it. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/894...obile-version/

A sticky is a silly way of doing it, end of day its an old thread with no specific info in its title so people are likely to not open it.

Most sensible would be a "Parts for sale" and "Cars for sale" section, imo.

Thread was last updated 30.9.11 Easy to navigate and has worked well enough for many years. Not going to change.
