Default For Sale threads

Hi Guys,

Apologies this may have been brought up before but you know I'm useless on the search (if it has please could you point me to the thread).

I was around when we did the original vote on the for sale forum and I agree that it should only be members that are allowed to post in there.

However - wasn't this before S2kUK was formed??

As we are using this as a forum for S2KUK can we (S2KUK members) not also be allowed to post for sale items? I believe it was just a UK decision not to allow non members to post (correct me if other countries are the same). Maybe flag S2KUK members on this site somehow?

Just a thought (totally not brought on by the fact I haven't renewed my membership for s2ki - oh no )

I can't work out how to change my title and it should have been 'Question for the mods'

I think that it would be difficult to implement this on the site without a Mod having to check your S2kUK status.

I agree too hence my comment about flagging those members on here somehow. A potential big overhead I appreciate.

If it was allowed I presume an S2KUK member could PM a for sale post to a mod who could post it on their behalf under a generic S2KUK_Member account.

That would rather defeat the object of being a member, and result in a lynching from the paying public.
