I did check out the meets section Irvaton as I knew one was coming up but we're only going to the Lakes as a quick consolation weekend as our holiday was cancelled

Maybe I should try and organise a Sunday lunch time pub meet

As we only have one bike to transport (not mine I hasten to add) I was considering the Saris Solo for the S2k. Anyone have experience?

I'm only after picking up my new MTB this morning and I'm looking for a bike rack. As I've seen in various thread the Saris Bones seems to be the best for the S2k.

But will a Saris Bones fit into the boot when not in use ?

Yep, easily. the legs and arms can all swivel round so it ends up pretty small. To make it even smaller, you could take the arms and legs off the central tube in 30s. Could prob fit it in the spare wheel well then!
