SC S2000 insurance
I have a multicar policy, I asked admiral to add a SC S2000 and they declined
any tips on the best bet for heavily modded motors? |
Sky insurance, been with them 10 years.
SC was about £50 extra. I installed it when I was 27 |
Admiral cover my standard S2000 but they wouldn't cover my VW Transporter camper because its modified :D
A Plan did it for a very reasonable price. |
Admiral Cover mine with mods (Coilovers, Full Sports Exhaust System & Uprated Brakes), guess it comes down to the extent of them. Worth knowing about the SC refusal, as that is my next step!

A specialist, no one comes close because they won't unsure just anyone...
Over 27 Previous years experience of rwd Claims etc I've always found Keith Michaels to be the cheapest I look around every year and usually can't beat them. |
I've found Classicline to be excellent in recent years. 5k miles, competitive price, and if you reach your 5k miles, you just renew early.
|
Cheers fellas.. I'll try in the morning
sky £690 for 3rd car, 15yr NCB, 2k a year not got through to others yet |
Flux, Sky and Chris Knott will insure SC'ed cars but I find their quotes can vary quite significantly year to year.
This year Chris Knott offered the best deal, I think it was around £500. |
Classic line cheaper
Keith Michaels said no SC cars :( |
