Didn't the Americans reckon the Kangaroo hops were caused by the engine management air temp sensor getting too hot and bothered, particularly in traffic, and a quick blip on the throttle before moving was often enough to stop this. Or perhaps get the sensor changed.

nenglender - The recall from a year ago was for the tonneau cover fouling the seatbelts which was fixed by changing the tonneau design. This one is for a bit that melts in the heat causing a mechanism jam.
I had mine fixed at the annual service - it was in all day, so I've no idea how long it actually lasted.
I have noticed an extra rattle from the passenger seat (not the belt buckle) since it was done, but I'm not sure whether that is coincidence.
Regards
Steve

On the topic of Tonneau covers... who actually uses theirs ?
Mine just sits in the boot.
C'mon admit it, we all drive without it - do we..? or is it just me then.

I fitted mine once. Took forever and didn't make the car look any better. Haven't bothered with it since. I've just brought it in the house, it was going cruddy in the garage. Anyway it just removes the ability to put your top up and down instantly if it rains and when parking etc.

Ive not used it once...
It looks like too much hard work to bother with - I've gone from Brighton to Birmingham and on Motorways (200miles) top down with no Tonneau cover.
(Although I do use a rear window protector to stop scratches - definately recommended)
Am I mad... or are we all the same ?

I've never used mine and have no intention of doing so either.
I have it stored in the loft (and I don't go in there very often )
My Muz mat looks after my rear screen nicely
