so £500 seems 'reasonable'.
that was from the bodyshop next to CG, and based on his classic car work, it should be an alright job!

I've been told this week to expect around £400 plus the cost of any panel that has to be bought - that is to cut out the complete wheel arch and weld in a new one taken from a doner rear panel.

I've patched mine up, covered it in waxoyl (including pouring it down inner panel inside the boot, good idea cheers) and will get a fixed quote in the next couple of week.

The other side wheel arch has not a single spek of rust on it.

Waxoyl the inside of the good one too. You know the Honda reputation.

TBF, if your car has had a new wing, there's very little you can do. You can never seal the inner edges of the join, like they can in an electrophoretic dip at the factory.

It's the one reason I'd sooner reshape than replace.
